I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FundApps in June 2022
Interview
* Initial chat with a member of peoples ops * Technical challenge - option given to either do a pair programming or take home challenge - I opted for take home * A two stage zoom interview - first part was a discussion around the technical challenge (i.e. how I approached the task, why I made certain discussions, etc.), and the second part was a Q&A where they assessed whether I fit the culture of FundApps, and I could assess whether this was the right company for me Overall - it was quite a quick process
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical wise - the questions were based off my answer. Why did I do things a certain way, what other potential ways could I have done it, etc. Non-technical wise - the questions were a mix of standard questions (i.e. Describe yourself, what do you know about the company), as well as questions designed to see if you have the culture that is desired at FundApps (open, team player, how you tackle discussions, etc).
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FundApps (London, England) in Jan 2024
Interview
CV screen followed by 3 stages: HR call, technical assessment, final interview.
All interviewers throughout the process were incredibly friendly and helpful. Recruiter was communicative throughout. From recruiter reaching out to offer took 3 weeks.

Question 1
Design an internal API service that sees a lot of traffic from other apps.
Initially had a phone interview with general questions, then a two-hour at home coding test/ kata, then brought in for an on site interview which involved a pair programming task and technical questions
