I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Funding Circle (London, England) in May 2021
Interview
Three step interview process.
First is small coding exercise.
Second is an abstract/open problem that needs to be implemented given the requirements, not that "algorithmic-esque"
Third is Systems design, typical systems design interview fashion.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
For the system design interview they asked me how I designed the previous project I had worked on my previous job. Things such as load constraints, Pull vs Push. Async vs Sync, Eventual Consistency, is considered. Since it was an interview for a mid-level engineer it was not too much in depth.
