I was called by one of Future Pay's recruiters, telling me he was interested in adding me to the sales team. After a brief interview, he said he wanted to add me to the team, and wanted me to fill out the official application and watch the company overview and training videos. Everything in the training videos completely went against what the recruiter had said. He told me all of the leads were company-generated, and the video continuously mentioned how the sales team was responsible for generating their own leads. The company boasts that your sales presentation is loaded onto a 10" tablet so that you look professional for your appointments, but they expect a 4-minute presentation, which hardly provides any information to your customers, to sell the deal for you.
After I watched the videos, I started doing some research on the company, checking reviews from customers and employees. I also checked a few other websites for reviews and complaints, and checked competitor information as well. Future Pay had MANY MANY MANY more complaints and negative reviews compared to other companies. When I asked the recruiter about this, he never actually gave me an answer. I emailed him with questions, and he called me and left a message saying that the company doesn't like to put anything in writing. That seemed so strange.
In the end, this job was not for me. Given what I have read regarding their complaints, and given what I have seen in their training videos, it seems that this company has no idea what good customer service is, and wants to gain sales by hoping the customers don't ask too many questions.
