I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at G2 (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview started with two phone interviews which were then followed by an aptitude test. If you pass the aptitude test, you are then requested to come in for several rounds of interviews with the team. First, you’re asked to retake the aptitude test, then every 30 minutes you meet with different members of the team.

Interview
Process started with a phone screen interview followed up with an assessment to complete. I highly recommend taking some practice tests to prepare. The assessment is 50 questions in 15 mins. I had my first interview with the hiring manager 2 days later which went great. Lots of questions about my background and my knowledge of G2 (do your research). 3 weeks later, I was called back for a mock meeting with a new client. They provide the background and the team members take on the role of a new client. After the presentation, I had three 30 minutes one on one interviews with members of the team.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at G2 (Chicago, IL) in July 2020
Interview
I had a brief fifteen-minute call with the recruiter Sarah in which I went over my job history and desires and she gave me a better rundown of the company and the position. I then took a cognitive ability test. As others have stated, I recommend taking some practice tests beforehand (though the actual test was much easier than the practices I completed). After that, I had a thirty minute call with the head of the Implementation department that I thought went really well. I was even told during the call that the manager really loved my attitude and to be on the lookout for an email from Sarah. The email I received two days later was a rejection. I replied asking for feedback on how I could be a stronger candidate as I think G2 is a promising company but never heard back. It's a bit disappointing when you get mixed signals and put in two interviews and receive no feedback to improve your future candidacy.

Question 1
Describe a time you dealt with a difficult customer and how did you resolve it.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at G2 (Chicago, IL) in July 2019
Interview
The interview process went really well. There were a couple stages. First there was a phone screen with one of the Implementation Managers. Second, I had to take an aptitude test that I had to pass to move on to the next round. The third stage was the in person interview. I had to take the aptitude test again during this in person interview. I met with three people on the Implementation team. Everyone was really nice. They asked questions about my past career experiences, but also questions about me as a person and how I respond to different situations. Lastly, I had to give a presentation to the Implementation Manager and VP of Customer Success via Zoom. Overall, the experience took a few weeks but I was able to get a really great grasp of the type of work I would be doing in the role and what it would actually be like to work at G2. I really enjoyed the entire process.
