I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at G4S (Charlotte, NC) in May 2013
Interview
The interview process is pretty easy. You meet with a site manager and answer some questions about your application. Next you are given a survey with the questions you are typically asked. After this is complete, the manager reviews your answers and may or may not make an offer of employment. If he/she does and you except, you are scheduled for orientation followed by 1-2 weeks of training classes.

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at G4S (Vermillion, SD) in June 2020
Interview
I applied with Indeed site, was set up with what was supposed to an interview a few days later, but ended up a phone call to verify the information that I had submitted and she then set up an interview for Friday the 12th of June from 2:30 - 3:00 pm. I waited until 25 minutes after 3 just to give the interviewer a chance if something came up. The individual from Sioux Falls South Dakota never called, no email or text to let me know if something came up.
Filled out an online app was contacted 4 days later and hired. Prior service military so maybe that’s why I didn’t get asked anything that official. Overall not a bad process.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at G4S (Plano, TX) in Dec 2017
Interview
I was interviewed a total of 3 times. The site I was assigned to seems to have higher expectations for its officers, which makes sense considering the compensation in pay is slightly higher than other sites.
