      Financial Advisor Interview

      19 Dec 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at GCG Financial in Dec 2015

      Interview

What interview?? I was contacted by GCG Financial (I did not contact them) to interview for a financial advisor position. Set up the time and even received a reminder email 3 hours before. Called the recruiter at the exact time and no answer, so I left her a voicemail to give me a call. By the end of the day... nothing. No return call or email. Sent an email the next day asking her what had happened and letting her know I was still interested. By the end of that day... nothing. So I will be contacting her supervisor next week to let them know that I had switched shifts and spent a couple of hours preping for an interview (that THEY wanted) that never happened. In addition, I am no longer interested in such an unprofessional company and they should fire the recruiter.
