GH & Associates interview questions

Not so much an interview as they bring you in along with about 50 other people. They tell you about their company ways and if you're interested, they set you up with 2nd round interview. They don't ask any questions about your skills as they have a firm belief that if you have what it takes, you'll succeed. It is a purely sales position. The titles for the position they write are completely false and misleading. EVERYONE starts at the bottom in their company which is the entry level sales position-standing in a store and hoping to catch shoppers to sign up for whatever deal is currently happening. They try to get you interested by letting you know that you can move up into a managerial position by 6 months. Very misleading and shady way to get people to apply and interview. However, that being said, people were very pleasant to speak to and if you weren't interested they were understanding.

I got an interview within three days of applying. On the phone-screening, HR asks if you're looking for a job with growth and management opportunities, and what you liked about the job based on the posting. At the 1st interview (30 min), it's made very clear that it's a sales position, where you can expect to be "promoted" to a "management" position within 4-6 months of starting at GH. It is explained that seniority doesn't matter at the company, and everyone starts out at the entry level role. Management then asks those little "yes questions:" is this something that interests you, does managing a team seem like something you'd be good at, etc. The structure of the growth is detailed to you at the 1st interview. They set up the 2nd interview 1.5 hours) AT the first interview, though they say that they'll reach out if they're interested. (sales tactic) 1st interview, Monday/Tuesday. 2nd interview (account manager shadowing), Wednesday/Thursday. 3rd interview: later afternoon of 2nd interview. My problem with the role and job description is that they make it seem like it's a marketing and branding opportunity. It isn't until you ask questions and dig into the website's FAQ page that you realize that it's a sales job, and you're a third-party employee working at Best Buy, etc, trying to sell internet/cell phone services. If you're interested in this job, I highly recommend you do some research on the company to find out if it's something you're REALLY interested in.
