I applied online. I interviewed at GLAMSQUAD (Washington, DC)
Interview
They inspect your kit and ask to see materials like disposables and alcohol spray - make sure you have those! Then you’ll create two looks like a day to night transition. Make sure you manage your time when they say 30 mins left, etc. At the end, everyone answers a Why GlamSquad? and a simple who-are-you question.
You’ll get a text or email in a day or two if you made it in or not. You’ll be sent instructions to create your profile and start accepting bookings!

Interview
The process is two-part and lasted for 6 hours. I brought a model with me and we were asked to create about 3-4 looks. They favor the current trend of clean or dewy makeup. No Instagram looks, no blocked brows or heavy makeup. A very light touch and application are what they noted that clients like in our area.

Question 1
The questions are usually asked before you are invited to the audition. Very basic such as how long you have worked as an artist. I think it is very important to have a professional portfolio on Instagram and or website for them to see your work. I would also suggest including some photos that are not filtered.
