GLSEN Manager interview questions

Applied online. Turnaround was quick, about a week or so. Phone interview with the hiring manager. Standard interview questions. Seemed like it was expected that I should announce my sexuality, as hiring manager announced their's without prompting. Struck me as very odd. As with any job, that information is irrelevant. Hiring manager ignored follow-up communication, which is not the level of professionalism I'd expect from the communications leader for the organization. Hiring manager recently published articles about frustrations with job applicants; should perhaps consider reading some articles about job applicant frustrations with hiring managers, common courtesy, etc.
