      GSK Future Leaders Program Interview

      3 Oct 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Brussels
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at GSK (Brussels) in Apr 2016

      Interview

After submitting online application, i had to undergo an online digital test which was based on personality followed by IQ. This was followed by a phone interview with questions mostly based on behavioural questions from an external recruiter for half an hour. Than i was invited for a full-day Assessment centre test at Brussels where I was one of the 9 candidates who were all flown in from Uganda to USA to Philipines. Real impressive diversity.

      Question 1

We had two group exercises in groups of 4-5 participants where we had to solves a case together. Than one interview with one of the people assessing us. This was again based on behavioural questions with general why do you want to join GSK and in which specific field will you like to pursue. I lost on the case study where we had 2 hours to read through a case and give a presentation of 10 mins on chart paper. The feedback i recieved that i did not use enough numbers to calculate the statisitcs!

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at GSK

      Interview

The interview process is split into 3 parts: - Online tests - Online interview - Assessment Centre During the assessment centre, you are given 5 tasks which includes personal interview, individual presentation, 2 group discussion and role play. During the personal interview it normally consists of a usual interview questions. As for the rest of the activities, there will be cases given to you before the specific task for you to prepare. The cases are quite long so they will give you some time to read up and prepare what you want to bring in for the next activity.

      Question 1

The role play was quite interesting and most challenging. It was basically on a case of a difficult employee who is not cooperating with her group and I was asked to speak to her during the role play.
