Straightforward Interview. Questions are not related to my PhD research but from the job responsibility. Anyone who does day to day Genomics work can tackle those easily. I should have prepared more. I think they had their preferred candidate who does exactly the same work.

What is fastQ stands for? What packages do you use for scRNA? How they work. Tell me how to build pipelines. etc.
Two stage interview process. First one telephonic, second in person on site with the panel of ten people. Work presentation and field related questions. Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, no pressure.

Participate in a phone screening, followed by a detailed phone interview. Then, attend an onsite interview, which includes delivering a presentation to demonstrate your skills and knowledge. Negotiate via email and phone follow up.

Time-consuming, they wanted me to create 2 Power Points for the interview. 1 was a research power point and the other was an introduction PowerPoint. Before the interview I also had to do an R (programming) exam for them AND use the assessment centre and a written interview too.
