I applied online. I interviewed at GSK (Stevenage, England) in Sept 2020
Interview
Initial interview questions followed by presentation. Emailed me a couple of research papers to read through a couple of days before the interview and asked me to present key information, and asked me follow up questions to further test my understanding.

Question 1
Describe a time in which you overcame a challenge and how you reached your solution.
Relaxed virtual interview. Interviewers were friendly. Had a mixture of competency and technical questions e.g. NMR, as well as ten minutes of preparing a quick presentation. Lasted approx. two hours.
For this application, there was an extra section where they ask you about previous scientific work - they're not looking actual research, they're looking for genuine scientific work, so you can talk about experiments you did in University. Also for this role, there wasn't a video interview and was straight to a face to face interview at their site.
