I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GWI (Athens, Athens, Attica) in Sept 2025
Interview
I recently went through GWI’s interview process, and I can honestly say it was the most positive and well-structured experience I’ve ever had. The process consisted of four interviews and a small technical assignment in Go (building a simple REST service).
HR Call – A warm and friendly introduction that immediately made me feel comfortable. The HR representative was polite, professional, and genuinely interested in my background.
Technical Assignment – Clear and well-designed. The description was simple but open enough to allow creative and technical freedom, which I really appreciated.
Technical Interview – An excellent discussion with two developers about the assignment. The tone was friendly, and the questions were meaningful, covering both the submitted code and general programming concepts. It felt more like a genuine exchange of ideas than a test.
Director of Engineering Interview – A delight. It was more of a conversation than an interview — focused on mindset, approach, and team fit.
Values Interview – My first time doing such an interview, and I found it refreshing. It showed that GWI truly values culture and people, not just technical skills.
The entire process took around two months, and communication was consistent and respectful throughout. Every person I spoke with represented the company’s culture beautifully — friendly, curious, and passionate.
