GaN Corp interview questions

After the initial phone interview it was apparent that the role was actually closer to an Executive Admin position in scope and responsibility. I was told I’d be moving forward, to expect scheduling for a second interview, and references were requested. Instead, I heard nothing for over a week and then received a generic rejection email. It’s disappointing to see a company advertise a role one way, interview candidates as if it’s another, and then ghost after asking for references. If you want serious professionals to consider you, be transparent about the role and respectful of people’s time.

I interviewed in person twice with GaN (Geeks and Nerds). Both times after the interview I never received any feedback. None. Neither positive, neutral, or "no thanks". In the second interview both interviewers had not not looked at my resume before the interview. Also, both interviewers spent more time talking to each other than asking me questions. 1st time may have been a fluke. 2nd time indicates a serious problem in their process. They advertise that they are "different" and like it that way. I think I will be not looking to be "different" with GaN in the future.
