I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Galco International (Phoenix, AZ) in June 2023
Interview
The interview was virtual. It was quick and easy and I heard back in a timely manner. If anything, I wish it had been a longer interview as I didn't think I had a chance to fully showcase my skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at Galco International
Interview
There was no interview given. This review is about the pre-employment process which is seriously lacking. There is little to no communication with the potential employee. Below in the Interview Question section I will be describing my experiences. This issue had happened twice to me on two different positions within this company and both times have had the same outcome and frustration. --NO COMMUNICATION--

Question 1
The Interview never happened but the application was submitted via Glassdoor which directed you to ZipRecruiter. Once there you fill out the information and then even in the job description they have instructions to also send your resume and cover letter to a specific email address. All the of the steps were followed. What is cool about ZipRecruiter is that it allows me to know when the company accessed my application. Which in this case was multiple times. After the third time I decided to give them a call as a way to communicate my sincere interest. However each and every time I called I was transferred to a voicemail box. Upon leaving a voicemail, I of course was expected at least a call back to that message. None came, despite the voicemail messages instructions and assurance to leave a brief message with name and phone and that one would get back to the person calling. Now I am in no way saying that I deserve an interview or anything like that. I am however saying that if an HR department looks at someones profile and application multiple times and that person even leaves multiple voicemail messages over a period of several weeks, it communicates just the type of HR department or even the company as a whole, who they are. There is absolutely no reason why a simple email or even a message within the Jobsearching sites or an email to one directly cannot be given allowing the person applying to know what is or is not happening. Ignoring the potential employee is again a testament to the character of that company. If you ignore me here what will you do when or if I get hired by you? Will you ignore me still there? Again it doesnt take a lot of effort or time to send a quick response saying, "Im sorry but your application is not what we are looking for." or even a call saying, "Hey! I am so sorry for not getting back to you sooner, things are hectic. We would love for you to come in at such and such a time."
