Galls reached out to me after I applied, via email. They said they were VERY interested in my background and thought it would be a perfect fit. The job was advertised 'remote' but when the description came, it was only one day a week remote. I told them it was not what I was looking for and why and thanked them for their interest. A week later, they reached out again saying they would consider fully remote for the right candidate. I interviewed with the head of Sales and was informed they loved me and would send the Gallup test over. I took it and waited a couple of days and followed up. I was told they were still in review process. A week later I followed up again then got a rejection email. I asked them if it was the Gallup test or any factor they could share with me and they ghosted me. I found out from someone I know that is connected to them that they found a candidate that would work fully in-office. I felt it was very unprofessional on their part to not respond to my inquiry or to potentially mislead me in that way, wasting both of our time. I even mentioned I may want to apply for other positions if I understood what the issue was and received no response. I'm glad they didn't hire me in the end, I would not want to work for a one-sided HR department or company that potentially misleads people.
