Submission of resume and cover letter, accompanied by repeated emails over a period of months until a position opens up. Do a preliminary phone interview, followed-up by a 1:1 interview with a senior level staff design at the firms office. Review portfolio and discuss education and skills required for the position. Discuss the position and the tasks that would be performed throughout the internship period.
