The interview process at Gatekeeper is atrocious. I had to do 5 interviews and 3 practical exercises, dragged out over 4 months!!! After the first few interviews, the role was changed and there seemed to be a panic about new AI functionality from AI vendors and the role seemed to be pulled. Then the CEO contacted me to continue the process and after being interviewed by him I still had to speak to the new Global PS manager. The people I spoke to were nice, and I got great feedback but the process is so drawn out and disorganised. HR kept going radio silent and out of office was a common response.
One of the company's values is "We only hire 'A Players'" but given that the recruitment process is where a company should really be at its best for potential new hires, they are providing an 'D' process. I haven't bothered going back to chase them again and if that's how they treat potential new hires I wouldn't accept a role if they actually bothered to come back to me.
I applied online. I interviewed at Gatekeeper (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2026
Interview
There was an Initial phone interview, upon passing that stage, you have to do CCAT self-assessment and personality assessment. If you pass that, then you are invited to a virtual assessment

Question 1
Tell us more about your background and why you are interested in this role?
Easy going and calm, got a good insight into the company culture. Felt like they were genuinely interested in learning more about me as a person and how I was going to fit in the team rather than only focusing on what they could get out of me
