I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Geek Squad (Citrus Heights, CA) in July 2014
Interview
Applied on July 13th, contacted via phone on the 15th to schedule appointment on the 17th. No phone interview. On day of interview, was directed to a waiting area for interviews. Interviews were running late and interviewer had many interviews that day :5-6 interviews including mine. Interviewer was quite friendly and made me comfortable during interview in employee break room. Seemed very interested in me but could not hire due to "new minor restrictions" as I am 16. It was my first interview and although I did not get a job offer, it was a very good learning experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions are typically scenario questions such as "Tell me a time when you went above and beyond for somebody"
Overall a pleasant experience. Questions were not difficult to answer. Mostly how one would handle different situations and your past experience. The interview did not take a long time and wait time for a response was reasonable.

Question 1
Name a time where you had a customer with an attitude and how did you resolve it?
Very laid back, what do I do for fun, have you worked with customers before, what was my availability like? Have you worked with windows computers before. The manager was nice, has been there for a while.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Geek Squad (Dallas, TX) in July 2022
Interview
Interview was fairly easy. Most of it was behavioral questions. Usually a 2-interview process. They may ask you limited technology questions but nothing more than consumer-level knowledge as a consultant.
