      Instructor Interview

      16 Nov 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Austin, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at General Assembly (Austin, TX) in July 2018

      Interview

The interview process consisted of a short screening phone call, followed by a Practice Teach, where I was given a link to a Dropbox filled with instructions and examples of lessons. I then had to meet in person to do a 15-20 minute lesson on one of the subjects. The reviewers gave feedback and then I had to incorporate their feedback into my lesson.

Why are you interested in teaching over practicing?
