I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at General Atomics (Poway, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
Had a phone interview with the hiring manager. 20 minute call.
Had a follow up on-site interview. 5 people, 30 minutes each.
Process was ok. Need more in depth questions to figure out if a candidate is a good fit...

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Atomics
Interview
1. Phone interview with a recruiter. Recruiter asked general questions. They also worked with the hiring manager to schedule an in person interview.
2. In person interview began with a review of the company and benefits by the recruiter. I was provided with a schedule of interviews. I interviewed with the direct hiring manager and two of their direct reports. First interview seemed like the individual was selling the company to me. Second interview was with the hiring manager. I felt like they were trying to see if I fit in with the culture, organization and if I was a match to work with the manager. Third interview was with an individual that asked me the the what would you do in this scenario questions.
3. I was offered the position within a week of my in person interviews.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at General Atomics (Poway, CA) in Nov 2013
Interview
Brief phone interview led to in person interview. Flew out from east coast. Met with HR for 30 minutes, then hiring manager for 30 minutes, then two peer PMs for 30 minutes apiece, then finished with the director over lunch in the cafeteria. No difficult questions, tone was relaxed and informal.
