I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Atomics (Poway, CA) in July 2016
Interview
Mostly consisted of resume review as noted on many other posts. They run through the resume and ask questions as they see fit relative to the position. It is usually a panel of a few interviewers. It should not be too difficult if you are comfortable with what you have done in the past. Note: they are unusually slow at responding, which can be frustrating.
Several rounds of interviews, people seemed nice and forthcoming with information about the company. They eventually ghosted me and I reached out several times for an update but had to check the portal for my status change.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about very standard qualifications and certifications related to the job.
There was a phone screen with HR and then the hiring manager that transitioned to an in person interview with the hiring manager one on one. After the hiring manager it then progressed to a team interview with about 12 people.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at General Atomics (Poway, CA) in Apr 2024
Interview
Call with recruiter then video interview with hiring manager. Moved pretty quickly and was a good experience overall. Recruiter went into great detail about benefits package. In rejection email, recruiter addressed me as the wrong name.
