I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at General Atomics (New York, NY) in Sept 2016
Interview
I applied and the next day, I received an e-mail from an HR specialist. I did call him and we talked about the position and he asked if I was interested for the position. I said yes. After a week, I received an e-mail from another HR specialist, who then became my go-to person for the whole process. I received an interview from two top managers and the interview lasted less than an hour, after taking a written assessment. I then received an e-mail at the end of that interview week, stating that the company wants to pursue the hiring process. I then received e-mails for background investigation and was told to provide references. After that phase of the process was done, I received another e-mail from HR, stating that everything went well and my offer letter would be generated. The whole process took two months.

Interview
Responsive hiring manager, worked around schedule and was present on time. Interviewers explained the nature of the position clearly, and readily answered questions as they arose. Appeared fairly casual, even joking with each other at times.

The interview was very informal however, they were very professional over the phone. I was referred by an employee so that kind of made the processes a lot smoother. I look forward to working for them.
