I was really eager to apply for the George School as its mission and values and align with my own. I was happy to have gotten an interview and the interview itself was relatively easy, just a popular sought out position with a rather long process. There’s two zoom interviews and then an in-person interview but I only made it to stage one. The hiring manager was very knowledgeable and provided great insight as to the tasks of what the job entails. I feel like a lot of times, the hiring managers are disconnected with the people they hire but I was impressed with their honesty and knowledge of the position. My only critique was that they said they would get back to me by the end of the week, whether I got the job or not, but heard nothing. I sent a thank you email for the interview which they acknowledged but no status. It sucks to not even get an update when people go through days of prep. Unsure if they ended up hiring for the position or if it was just taken down and not filled. Guess we will never know.
