The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Georgia-Pacific (Atlanta, GA) in July 2007
Interview
Long interview process, be prepared for over half a day.
In the first step, the recruiter will call and schedule a time for a phone interview. In the phone interview, you will be asked general questions about your past experience. It should last 30 minutes or so.
In the face to face interview, I spoke with 5 people. All in a one-on-one format. They will call out a core value and expect for you to give an example illustrating how you handled yourself in that situation. So for example, the core value may be Integrity and you give an example of a time in your career when your Integrity was questioned and what you did.
Other core values include teamwork, Respect, Ownership, and Value (what do you do that brings value to company). Have plenty examples of past work experience.
I have also had interviews there that were in a panel format. One panel gave a written test.
You will leave tired when you finish interviewing.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Give an example of how you bring value to your current role?
It was a really easy interview. Asked questions that were straightforward. Definitely still prepare for it. Important to ask any questions that you may have at the end. Including what do you look for in a successful candidate

Question 1
Tell me about yourself? What makes you a good candidate?
Went through 3 rounds of interviews and felt very promising. Flew in for a final in person interview. There was a revolving panel of employees who asked questions. Finally was what would be my manager. He was nodding off during my answers (I swear I wasn’t that boring). Either he was pulling overtime and getting no sleep or had some other issue going on. I didn’t get the job.

Question 1
Describe how you overcame difficulties during a project.
I applied online. I interviewed at Georgia-Pacific in Jan 2022
Interview
Starts with the typical recruiter interview where general and situational questions are asked, then 2 more interviews follow. The recruiter ghosted me, which I find highly unprofessional and would think a company like Georgia Pacific had higher standards than that.
