I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Georgian (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2026
Interview
All went well until the technical interview. I was given a specific concepts to expect on the technical interview (llms, agents, nlp, ml,prompt design) by the recruiter and hiring manager. When I showed up to the interview I was told we're doing 'leetcode questions and vibe coding'. It was a terrible experience and I wasted a week preparing to build a chatbot, create agentic workflows, etc. I didn't even apply for this role, I was recruited and it ended up being a huge waste of time and energy. There was also 3 more rounds of interviews after the technical. Overall very awkward.

Question 1
Modify class state to detect which keywords are present in a list of messages with a list of ~5 constraints/requirements that the function needed to adhere to.
First round HR, second round ML, third round engineering. ML round was interesting, given a lot of applied settings and brainstorming solutions. Engineering round is a standard coding problem, which I did not pass.
