I first had a phone interview with an external recruiter and after that a video interview with the marketing lead. Everything went great and I truly thought I had the best interview experience ever. I was told that I was a great match with the role/platform they were hiring for and was promised to meet the rest of the team. Then I got ghosted. When I asked for a follow-up, I was told that because of sick leave I'd be contacted a bit later on. I waited for a month and emailed again. Another recruiter answered me told me that they had hired someone else. I guess this was one of those "too good to be true" moments. I felt like I was given too big promises too early and when they found someone else, they didn't even bother to let me know. As I read earlier reviews, looks like I'm not the only one with a similar situation. What a shame for the company.
