Apparently there were upwards of 15 people all invited to the assessment day for the same role. Every candidate was unaware of the numbers, and many remarked that they would not have come if they were told about it up front. It began to appear as if the emphasis was on creating a group as they shouted close to the end during speed dating interviews:
"even if you don't get selected we should there is mentoring available".
Perhaps everything was completely above board, but candidates shouldn't have doubts as to the authenticity of the offer and corresponding opportunity. Slightly confused...very disappointed.
