      Customer Support Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Giftory in Feb 2026

      Interview

Interviewed for customer support. During the conversation, compensation was discussed at approximately $22/hour. When I asked whether there was flexibility on pay, I was told it was not negotiable in a direct manner that felt dismissive. Based on my experience and education, I had hoped there might be room for discussion. I also did not personally observe much visible diversity in the company’s public-facing materials or online presence. My overall impression was that the culture and working in that department wouldn't have worked for me. At all. I sent an email letting the person know that I would not continue with the hiring process. The guy couldn't be bothered to acknowledge my email and say thank you for letting me know or good luck.
