      Sales Engineer Interview

      25 Sept 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Santa Monica, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gimbal (Santa Monica, CA) in July 2017

      Interview

Had an over the phone with HR then an over the phone with the VP of Sales Development. Onsite was an all day process, spent about 7 or 8 hours there meeting with various people remotely or in person. Met with almost everyone high up as well. Got an email saying they were offering me the job and that they would soon get the contracts over. Called 3 other places I was interviewing at and told them I was no longer interested. A week of me asking for the contracts ensued and them reassuring me via email that they were moving forward with me and not to be concerned just that they needed to wait on the right person. Finally get an email saying that they are rescinding the job offer. Don't make promises you can't keep. Other than that, everyone was very nice and I loved their company. I would have loved to work there.
