      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Girls Inc (Oakland, CA) in Aug 2014

      Interview

There was an initial phone interview with the GIRLStart Program Manager. After this, when asked to come in form an interview I was given a prompt (a brief story about a child being brave) and asked to create a lesson plan using this prompt. This was to include vocabulary words and an enrichment activity afterword. Once at the interview, I was asked to deliver the lesson to the two people interviewing.

      Interview

The first step is a phone screen. They will ask you pretty basic questions. It was pretty easy. If you pass this part they will ask you right then and there if you passed or not. If you did they will ask you to come in for an in person. In person is pretty easy.

      Interview

3 people interview at once with pre judgement attitudes that makes you feel really uncomfortable with prejudice judgment written all over their faces and makes you feel as if they’re testing you to see if you’re ever going to break or give up while flooding you with quietness

      Question 1

Do you see yourself working in urban neighborhoods long term?
