      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Girlstown

      Interview

The entire process took about 3 weeks, which was not unexpected. I filled out an application online and emailed it in. You can also fill one out in person. There is a child abuse and neglect background check that has to go through DHS and takes a few days. There was an in-person interview with two administrators- the HR manager and our supervisor. The questions were pretty simple and generic. Mostly asking you to describe your experience working with kids and how you would handle certain situations (suicide threat and aggressive behavior). After that, they offered employment and I had to get a physical done which they paid for. Then, theres 24 hours of job shadowing and you're thrown out on the floor.
