I applied through email. Someone contacted me 2 weeks later to set up an interview. I interviewed on campus with 2 people who worked in the department. I answered 6 questions which they helpfully had printed out for me. The actual interview felt very stiff because they wrote down my answers on a sheet that would be "scored" (which made it feel more like a test rather than an interview.) At the conclusion of the meeting, they told me that it might be some time before they got back to me because they wanted to hire all the full-time positions first. I was very confused (why advertise this position then?). I emailed a few times afterward politely asking for updates. I waited a month for any word. They never replied.
