It was a straightforward one on one. The interviewer was very friendly, professional and clearly been successful in the city finance sector.
It wa a tell me what you have done in career, how would fit the role, this is what the company does, what are your major acheivements and where do you see yourself in 5 years.
Key requirements were one extra European Language, Foreign Exchange trading sector knowledge and Client Services experience.
But for all this they only wanted to pay £18k per year. Recruiter had said it was negotiable. Once the wage was established during the interview I lost interest and body language probably showed. For the skills required it was a fairly insulting wage and it also showed me they cared little for high quality client/customer service (you get what you pay for!).
18k in London is equivalent to a supermarket checkout wage, or less.
