I was emailed saying that they would like me to come to an interview. Then there was radio silence for two weeks. My emails got no response. I contacted a friend who worked there and he gave me the phone number for the managing editor. I called him up and he gave me a specific date and time to come in. When the day arrived, I went to their office (which I had to look up online, only to find that that was inaccurate, so I had to ask my friend again) and no one greeted me. There is no reception area at all, so I just stood awkwardly around until someone walked by. She directed me to the editor's office and we had our interview.
The interview was a breeze, even though it was conducted in Chinese, which I though was odd for a position that requires a native speaker of English. They agreed to my salary expectations on the spot, which made me realize I could have asked for more.
