I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Glovo (Barcelona) in Nov 2025
Interview
I was first contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn, and then I had my initial HR interview with a team member from India. Unfortunately, the interviewer had limited English proficiency, which made communication a bit challenging. I was told I would be contacted for the next steps, but I never received any follow-up. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, and clearer communication would have been appreciated.

Other Senior Android Developer interview reviews for Glovo
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Glovo (Barcelona) in June 2025
Interview
I had three stages of interview: first with a recruiter, second - live coding with a team, and 3rd - architecture design also with a team. After first 2 stages I got feedback after 1 or 2 days, after 3rd stage I was waiting for a week and got super-generic response (like from ATS) that "after reviewing your experience and skill set in more detail, unfortunately, we will not be moving forward with your candidacy for the Android Engineer (They/She/He) position at this time." So before proceeding through all these stages, you haven't reviewed my experience and skill set, right Glovo? That's really embarrassing to hear. No real feedback. I wrote few emails to recruiter and to the person who interviewed me, but no response. So when you ask: what is the culture of the company and they say, "Complete transparency," please know that is a lie. I agree that the candidate could not meet some business requirements or does not know something, but please point it out, as for each company, the candidate takes at least 4 to 8 unpaid hours. Please be respectful to your candidates.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Write a function that will sort items in a list where every next item will be greater or less then the previous, e.g.
5, 2, 1, 7, 9, 8 -> 2, 5, 1, 9, 7, 8
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Glovo in June 2025
Interview
I went through multiple interview rounds at Glovo and received very positive feedback from all interviewers. The recruiter told me directly that “everybody I met at Glovo thought I’d be a great fit” and that I was moving forward to the final stage, which consisted of an Application Design interview and a Culture Alignment interview.
I promptly provided my availability for the interviews. Shortly after, one interview was canceled by the recruiter due to “coordination issues,” with a promise to reschedule soon. Despite several polite follow-ups over the following weeks, I never received a rescheduled date or any clear communication about the process. I was simply left without a response.
Concerns:
This was not only unprofessional but also deeply disappointing, given how far I had progressed. Being invited to the final stage and then silently dropped without explanation undermines the credibility of the company’s recruitment process. I also cannot ignore the possibility that my nationality or background may have influenced the decision to suddenly stop the process, as I had disclosed living in a conflict-affected region at the time. If this was the case, it raises serious questions about fairness and equal opportunity in hiring.
