Interview
Overall nice people, but a disorganized and, at times, unprofessional process.
The first interview is with HR which was skipped in my case and I immediately spoke with the hiring manager. You are constantly bombarded with industry specific questions which are obviously hard to answer for such a new and uncertain sector. After that is BC (takes you 3-4 days) and presentation in front of a panel which looks more like an exam than a business presentation. The last interview was planned to be with the country manager but actually was a cultural fit with the teammates.
Throughout the process their explanation of the timeline is very poor and you never know what is the next step. The presentation interview was meant to be held in person but they moved it online last minute without proper explanation. During the presentation two people were late, one joined in half an hour into the presentation, the other was listening to the presentation on their phone while walking around the airport. Laughable. The final interview was scheduled to be a formal meeting with the country manager just for me to arrive and see it is actually with teammates in a bar, something I wasn't preparing for by any means. All in all, quite a mess of a process, which doesn't give you a good impression on the company at all.
They don't stop talking about their cult values which sounds more like you are joining a religious organization rather than a workplace. In reality this "values" just means overly young atmosphere that, at times, seems like your are speaking with Erasmus students rather than mid level professionals. It is mandatory for them to see you as their friend, a giant red flag in my opinion.
In the end you are given a feedback that is ridiculous. You are provided with an assessment of your character and capabilities from someone who has met you for 30 min over Zoom - it is not just pretentious but borderline rood and distasteful. And even this feedback comes late and after my follow ups because "they had problems with their system".
