Classic HR first call meeting to get to know you
Meeting with the manager where he asked basic Salesforce technical questions and discussed the team as well as the role in more detail. During the interview, the manager mentioned that I had a “senior profile” despite applying for a more junior position. He also told me that I would be invited to the next round, which would involve a case study, and that he intended to make it slightly more challenging because of my level of experience.
However, despite following up several times, I never received any update regarding this third round. After three weeks, I eventually received an automated rejection email stating: “Unfortunately, your experience doesn’t align with the very specific needs of this role at this moment.” This was particularly confusing given that the manager had explicitly told me during the interview that my profile appeared more senior than the position required.
