I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GoGen (London, England) in July 2014
Interview
first it was a large group interview in centric house covent garden. We were each told to turn to the person next to you and tell them about you. Then we had to get up and deliver to the others what your partner told you about themselves e.g. i worked in....i love doing....i am a ...person.
we then were told to read from a script and if you have a clear reading voice you will most likely get it because i totally messed up on the first part where you deliver to everyone what your partner told you.
after that if you pass they call you to an 'assessment day' but its more like an interview and training day at once. they tell you to read a script, brief you about british red cross and tell you to write a script yourself.
i was told an hour later both times via email that i got the job
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at GoGen (London, England) in July 2015
Interview
9-5 on one day, group interview. Person who led the interview was very self confident and made us carry out a range of exercises, first by introducing ourselves, why we wanted to work at Gogen and why were we interested in charity fundraising. We then had to rein-act calls as a group and go through several procedures necessary whilst doing the job.

Interview
Basic interview process. I applied through an agency on totaljobs.com I think. I was called by agency to invite me to a group interview where the call centre is. We first talked about our experiences and practised the script one by one, went for lunch and when we were back would read the script and were encouraged to ask questions as if we were on the phone. It was a long day. Those not successful at the first part of the day were called during lunch and told not to come in. You were called later in the day if you were successful.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GoGen (London, England) in Aug 2014
Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward, you get put in a group with about a dozen people that have been referred through agencies. You then learn about the charities they represent, the do's and don'ts and read through one of the telephone scripts you use when calling up customer (the people that donate the money). They test you on your ability to read, delivery, tone, pitch and how you build rapport over the phone. You find out by the end of the day if you were successful or not.
