I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GoGuardian (Los Angeles, CA) in July 2022
Interview
Had initial call with recruiter to was upfront about salary and described what the interview process was going to be and next steps. First interview was described as project overview and leetcode questions. First interview was project overview, some behavioral questions, and a coding exercise is language of choice, but not leetcode style but more practical.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at GoGuardian in Mar 2026
Interview
They approached me for this position and scheduled a technical interview. The first time, it was cancelled at the last minute and rescheduled for the next day. For the second scheduled interview, I joined the call on time, but no one showed up. I reached out to HR, but there was no immediate response. After about half an hour, she replied saying there had been a production issue and the interview was cancelled, though I was not informed beforehand. She mentioned it would be rescheduled, but I never heard back again. Overall, the experience felt quite unprofessional.
Interview had 2 tech rounds followed 1 managerial discussion. Overall was Smooth and took around 2 months for process to complete from process start to offer extension. On-boarding process was smooth as well. Overall good experience.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GoGuardian (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2022
Interview
Got approached by LinkedIn from the hiring team
1- HR screen
2- 90 min resume deep dive + live coding
3- 120 min architecture + system design
Scheduled a 90 mins interview via G meet with engineering team members - one hiring manager and one engineer
First round was going over resume and second was live coding and leet style, I would take leet easy (flood fill)
Followed by a week of gap (on my side) to schedule further interview, got feed back of 90 min next day
First half of 2 hour was split between system design and architecture
Great experience overall but offer seem a little low balled. No information on strike price of options, which kinda odd
