I applied online. I interviewed at Goodstack (London, England) in June 2026
Interview
I applied on a bank holiday Monday and was invited to schedule an interview the following morning. After booking the interview for the next week, HR asked me to bring it forward.
From there, the process moved very quickly: HR interview on Thursday, hiring manager interview on Friday, an Excel and presentation task to complete over the weekend for a submission and interview session on Monday, and then a founder interview on Wednesday. Four stages in the space of a week.
After each stage, I simply received the next interview invitation with no indication of how things were going. After investing around 2.5hrs in interviews plus several more hours completing the task, I received a generic rejection email on Friday saying I wasn't aligned with the role. I replied asking for more specific feedback given the time commitment involved, but I didn’t receive a response.
I appreciate that not every candidate can be successful, but for a company that promotes "candid and kind" as a core value, I don't feel that was reflected in the candidate experience. A more transparent and respectful feedback process would have gone a long way.
