I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Goodwill
Interview
Submitted app at a job fair and was interviewed on the spot. (Rule of thumb: if an employer attends a job fair, then they are hiring.)
Got the job offered on condition that I pass free drug test. Peed my pants on the spot and passed. Just kidding, they sent me to get a free drug test at a local clinic. Passed, clinic sent results to Goodwill, got job offer.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Goodwill (Tucson, AZ) in Dec 2022
Interview
Went in for a walk-in interview, fully dressed from a different interview that day, and was practically hired on the spot. Managers were very helpful and clear about the rest of the process, the interview itself was done with 3 managers with each one asking the usual questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you had an issue with something and how you worked out a resolution. Describe an instance when you went above and beyond for a customer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Goodwill (Mount Pocono, PA) in June 2022
Interview
Very easy going, just a casual conversation and not much about my experience. If they need people, it should be very easy to get hired once you get the interview
It was a chill interview. Nothing to stress about just be yourself and know what you want. Be direct when discussing your hours and you should have a smooth experience.
