I applied online. I interviewed at Goodwill (Grand Rapids, MI) in Nov 2022
Interview
I applied online and received an email inviting me for an interview. Store manager was very nice, she invited the regional manager to a video call to speed up the process. They both asked some tough but very good questions. The video call was ended but the manager continued to give more in depth information about the store's internal operation and the hours of the position. She had me fill out a background check form in case they decide to continue with the hiring process. She said she would contact me regardless of whether or not they would be pursuing me, but I never heard back.

Question 1
How many people did you manage in your last management position?
How would you handle this situation: a customer is throwing a tantrum in the store, threatening customers and staff, and refusing to leave? (This had actually happened prior to my interview, so they compared my response to Store Manager's response)
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Goodwill (Jacksonville, FL) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interviewing manager forgot our meeting and went to lunch. I had to wait for over 20 minutes for her to return. When she did return she told me that she forgot about it and thought it was earlier but just decided to go to lunch. She was very disorganized and kind of all over. I don't recommend working here. If the manager can't remember a scheduled interview how can she run an entire store.
It was fairly easy. It was a standard interview. I interviewed with 3 people and also took a test. The questions were not hard to answer. I was able to use the position as a stepping stone to becoming a Store manager.
First phone interview and then if you pass that you get an in person in store interview with the store manager If any of you was easy they just asked if you had a driver's license if you knew that this job entailed getting your hands dirty etc
