I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Goodwill (Walnut Creek, CA) in June 2023
Interview
Very easy. Store manager does interview. Reads questions off of a sheet. Interview was conducted in a small, private office. Store manager tells you about their life and career makes it very comfortable.

Question 1
What motivates you? What is customer service to you? Tell me about yourself? What do you know about the Goodwill? What’s your availability?
It was very quick and easy. It was on site and very low pressure. They made it feel very comfortable. The interview lady was very nice. I ultimately turned down the job, but I did remember the process and how pleasant it was.

Question 1
To describe a time where I had to deal with difficult employee
simple, barely any questions. they didn’t ask much, first time worker and they still hired me sooo but that was 2021. It wasn’t awful but not very structured. could’ve been worse
Called me on the phone and set an in-person interview. Asked a few questions in their office, with just one manager. Interview probably lasted 30 minutes, with basic questions about my cashiering experience, why I was looking for a job, etc.
