I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google Cloud (Paris) in Dec 2019
Interview
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to make a controversial decision
A technical , behavioral and presentation onsite - was overall a positive process and enjoyed it. Make sure to be prepared to talk very specifically about previous projects. A lot of people lack the structure necessary to fit their rubric.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Google Cloud in Apr 2026
Interview
Questions for the RRK round was about cloud architecture i've designed before.
The whole interview was only about technical questions. No behavioral or hypothetical questions. Made me nervous a lot.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google Cloud (Singapore) in Aug 2025
Interview
Smooth experience overall. I was contacted by a Google recruiter, had an initial screening round with her. They then proceeded to setup formal interviews for RRK, GCA etc.
Spent 1 week after hours and almost full day on weekend prepping, watching and taking notes from a lots of YouTube videos with helpful suggestions..
It took a few weeks for the recruiter to receive all the feedback for interviews, which was positive.
Another week to receive an offer. Financially, only a minor jump in cash compensation, but they gave some some Google stocks which is a good incentive to join.
