I had two stages. One with a HR lady and one with the line manager. The first interview was very basic with the HR. Following that, we agreed a second stage interview. 2Hrs prior to the second interview I got a call to inform me that the interview is cancelled. 10 days later I agreed with the HR lady for a second interview and was given a case study. The line manager didn't know anything about my CV prior to the interview (I found that very odd and unprofessional). I have spent a whole week end preparing the case study, and was presenting my ideas...until the manager told me "That's not what I was expecting". I have 10 years experience in Supply Chain and the case study was so basic so I explained the root cause and How I got to the conclusions but it was not enough for her. After she dropped the bombshell, I knew it was game over (10 mins from the interview start). After that, she pretended to ask me few questions but it was very awkward. It was a complete joke, and a waste of my precious time.
