I applied through indeed.com and was contacted by phone within a couple days to come in for an interview with the Front Desk Manager at the time. She explained the job to be and asked if it was something I thought I would be equipped for/interested in doing. Dress professionally for your interview and do your hair and makeup. Your appearance matters.
I was then scheduled for a "working interview". At my working interview, I was assigned to observe one of the Spa Coordinators and I basically shadowed them for an hour. It is important to pay attention and take notes of what they are teaching you because they are the ones who are going to tell the GM and owner whether they think you're going to take the job seriously.
Directly after my working interview, I was called back into the office with the General Manager and the Owner. They asked me several questions regarding my past experience and whether I was ready to handle the sometimes hectic nature of this job. I assured them that I was a fast learner and that I felt that this was a job that I was ready for and would enjoy. They decided to offer me the job and I started 2 days later.
