Was contacted by recruiter who arranged for interview with hiring manager. Shocked to learn a highly regulated insurance company only has 3 employees in their Compliance Dept. Hiring mgr was lovely, quickly had me go through 3 MORE interview rounds. Total of 5 interviews for a LOW PAYING job, which is really the Head of Audit under the disguise of Manager title and pay. Now I feel ghosted despite my follow ups. Also recruiter told me this job does not pay bonus and was asking me if im flexible on the salary range! Wow. Sounds like I dodged a bullet. This is not a company that values and prioritizes compliance and audit. Its painfully clear. Cant help but wonder if I didnt get the job purely because I am worth more?
