      Interview

The recruiter contacted me about the offer via LinkedIn messages, we scheduled a 30 mn call that we moved to another time due to the recruiter's unavailability. The interview was a classic 30 mn call to talk about my self.

      Interview

Review: I went through five interviews with this company, which required a significant investment of time, preparation, and even taking days off from work. After all these efforts, I was simply told, following an internal meeting, that they had decided not to move forward with me. What surprised me the most is that the final decision came only after five interviews. If there were doubts or incompatibilities, this could have been identified much earlier, saving a lot of time for everyone involved. My interview with the CTO was particularly negative and unprofessional. From the start, he had an arrogant attitude, making remarks like: “I hope you came with questions and not empty-handed.” While I was answering, he didn’t even look at me — instead, he kept looking left and right, with an irritated expression, as if he didn’t care about my answers. During the same interview, he openly criticized his own employees, saying he didn’t trust HR or senior directors. This showed a clear lack of respect, not only towards me as a candidate but also towards his own team. I felt that the decision not to proceed came solely from him, driven by arrogance rather than a fair and professional evaluation of my skills or fit for the role. All the previous interviews had gone very well, but this one was completely different. In summary: • Unnecessarily long process (5 interviews) • No constructive feedback • CTO displayed arrogance, disrespect, and lack of professionalism • Decision seemingly based on subjective rather than professional reasons • Significant waste of time for the candidate A serious company should be able to make a decision earlier, ensure respectful behavior from all interviewers, and value the time and effort candidates put into the process.
