Interview
Interview itself went smoothly, but it was very difficult to liaise with the HR team, had to chase them up multiple times. I heard nothing from them for three weeks after being invited to interview.

How do you assess the challenge posed by Reform to the Labour Government?
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear the interview experience itself went smoothly, but we apologise for any delays and lack of communication you encountered during the process from the People Team. This is not the standard we aim to uphold, and we recognize how frustrating it can be to have to chase for updates. We sometimes find ourselves in a position where we’re also awaiting updates, but due to client demands or team holidays (especially during the summer months) the interview process can sometimes take longer than anticipated. Thanks again for your feedback, we’ll certainly take it onboard for future processes.

Why are you looking at a lower grade than you should be?
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback - we really appreciate it and we're sorry that you experienced delays during the interview process as we appreciate how frustrating this can be. Although occasional disruptions are sometimes unavoidable in a fast-paced agency environment, particularly when urgent client matters arise, this is not the experience we want our candidates to have.
We also appreciate you bringing to our attention the issues with locating the office and the difficulties with the phone line. We are taking steps to ensure these are addressed and fixed, so future candidates don’t face the same challenges.

A meeting was set up with the Head of Consumer and a Director at their offices to discuss the work required, experience, and relevant work. HR was then involved for finer details before a hiring decision was made a week later.
